My Recipe

  • 100 gm Semiya or vermicelli
  • 1 boiled potatoes
  • 1 chopped tomotoes
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 1 chopped green chilies
  • 10-20 corn boiled
  • 1 TSP oil
  • water 1 cup
  • 2 tsp Red chilies powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. Heat oil in Kadhai . Add chopped onion and Green Chilies Saute it till become dark pink.
  2. Then we Add chopped tomoatoes and add 2 Red chilies powder, 1 tsp Turmeric powder and 1 tsp salt mix it well and add the boiled potatoes.
  3. Then we Add Semiya or vermicelli as per person 100 gm it requires.Its shrink when we make it. Then We add 1 cup water as shown in video.
  4. Then we cover this with plate for 5 minutes. check it After 5 minutes Semiya or vermicelli upma is ready to serve. Garnish with Boiled corn or Coriander leafs.
