Methi Thepla Recipe

Methi Thepla is very tasty breakfast , lunch , travel carried food and Methi is specially available in winters. We also called winter bite this Methi Thepla. Thepla is flat bread and added methi spices and very tasty served with sauce and chutney. Methi Paratha  healthy and tasty in both ways. My Recipe

Prep Time: 5 mins

  • 2 Cups Organic Plain Flour or Multigrain flour
  • 50 gm Methi leafs chopped
  • 2 tsp Till
  • 2 spoon oil
  • 1 spoon salt
  • 2 spoon Red chilly powder
  • 2 Green chilly Chopped
  • Water 1 cup
  • Ghee 1 spoon or Butter


  1. We make Soft dough for Methi Thepla First add Multigrain or Plain flour in bowl, add chopped methi leafs, 2 chopped green chilly, 2 tsp Till, 2 spoon oil, 1 tsp Red chilly add water and make soft dough for Methi Thepla as shown in Video.
  2. Now Methi Thepla dough is ready make small dough partitions and make round Thepla as shown in video.
  3. Heat Tawa and apply 1 tsp oil and cook Thepla on Tawa Both sides as shown in Video. Apply Ghee Butter after cook Thepla.
