Besan Barfi Recipe

Besan ki Barfi Recipe  or Rajasthani Called Besan Chakki sweet dish Recipe is very tasty you can make it on any festival like Rakhi Diwali and store for 20 days. I make it many times. Many people ask me about Besan barfi how you sindhi make besan Mithai ? We make it in ghee not adding oil or milk in it.  We sindhi call  Besan ki Mithai or Besan Barfi  other names Besan Chakki , Besan pak  also known by others. As per name  its gram flour  full protein and fiber  healthy recipe. Must watch video and try this recipe at home

 

My Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 Gm Besan
  • 200 gm Ghee
  • 100 gm sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • Dryfruit 100 gm Pista , Badam etc.

Method

  1. Take 200 gram besan will filter Besan(gram flour). Make a tight dough like Bati. Add ghee and gram flour in bowl add half cup water as consistency shown in Video must check it.
  2. Make Tight dough with Besan and make some besan dough small pieces peda with hands and for fry this heat 2 table spoon ghee in Kadhai.
  3. Ghee is very fastly heat so do it all bsean dough peda fry on slow flame as shown in video.
  4. All Muthiya or peda are fried and left for 10 - 15 minutes for chill. Then all the muthiya break with hands and take mixer jar and grind it as shown in video.
  5. All Muthiya graded powder is formed then again filter this to make besan barfi smooth and tasty.
  6. Then we take all filtered besan barfi smooth mixture and add to kadhai also add 1 table spoon ghee and slow flame saute it . It takes 20 -25 minutes to ready.
  7. Then we make chashni for this add 100 gm sugar or 8 spoon sugar in pan and add half cup water make chashni dedh Tar as i shown in video.
  8. Besan barfi all mixture is getting ready we add 100 gm mixed kaju , badam, pista chopped. Besan Barfi mixture colour is golden brown then we off the gas and add Chashani switch off the gas. Mix all properly as shown in video.
  9. Greece ghee on glass plate. Add all mixture of besan barfi and press with spoon to give proper shape slice. Its too hot so we do slice with knife.
  10. Garnish Besan barfi with Pista , badam and Kaju with dry fruits cutting . Besan Barfi is ready leave it on cool place for 4 hours to set. Besan Barfi is ready to serve .
