Chole Recipe | Chickpeas Curry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chole / Chickpeas Boiled ( Whole night soak in water wash 4- 5 times and boil in pressure cooker add 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp oil 1 glass water take 5-6 whistles)
  • 2 chopped Green Chilles
  • 2 Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes Paste
  • 1 Glass Water
  • 1 table spoon oil
  • 2 spoon Red Chilies powder
  • 1 spoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 spoon Coriander powder
  • 1 spoon Garam masala/ chole masala or Kitchen king masala
  • 1 spoon lemon juice

Method

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pressure cooker. Add chopped onion and green chilies saute it for 10 minutes till dark pink on slow flame.
  2. Add the Red chillies powder, Turmeric powder, Coriander Powder , Chole masala or Garam masala 1 tsp and salt mix it well. Add tomatoes paste as shown in the video and then add 1 cup water Saute this gravy take 2- 3 whistle in pressure cooker this gravy.
  3. When Pressure cooker opens mesh the gravy with spoon. Gravy is ready than we add Chole / Chickpeas Boiled saute it with gravy and take 2 whistle this chole with gravy as shown in video.
  4. In 10 minutes it's completely ready than we add 1 tsp lemon juice and mix it.garnish with Amchur powder or black paper with onion and tomatoes salad. Vegetable is ready to Serve with Bhatura, Kulcha , Bread , Butter Roti or Naan as you like.
