Sindhi Style Doda Recipe/ Makki ki Roti on Bach Baras special recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups - Organic Makke ka Aata / Is corn flour same as 'makke (maize) ka ata
  • 2 Cups luke water
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 green chilly chopped
  • Green Garlic/ Hari lassan/ Sai Thum in sindhi chopped
  • Salt according to taste
  • 2 tsp Red chilies powder
  • 1 big bowl to mix and make this dough
  • Tawa or frying pen
  • Ghee 2 table spoon or butter
  • Oil 2 table spoon

Method

  1. Take all the ingredients first take makki ka aata or maize floor in bowl, add salt, onion, green garlic, red chilies, luke water according to make dough as shown in video.
  2. Heat Tawa and greece with one tsp oil take one clean polythene on take small dough in hand and give it small round shape and put on Tawa.
  3. One side its properly done then with hep of plain spoon change the side and put 1 tsp oil again. this will take 10 minutes maximum to be ready.
  4. Both side makka ki roti/ Makki ka sindhi Doda is ready to it Put 1 spoon butter or ghee . Spread it in quantity serve with Dal or Green chutney
