Vagharela Vegetable Mamra Recipe

  • 250 gm Mamra
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 potato chopped
  • 1 bowl cabbage chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped and 1 capsicum chopped
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Red chilles powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • water
  • cumin seeds/ jeera
  • coriander leafs


  1. wash mamra and put this mamra in bowl. Dont leave for long time because Mamra is so soft like poha.
  2. Heat oil in kadhai add cumin seeds , green chilies, capsicum and onion and saute it for 5 minutes. When it become dark pink add 2 tsp red chilles powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt 2 tsp saute it properly then add tomatoes and mix it well
  3. Then we add potatoes and cabbage in this. If you have any other vegetable like beans. We will cover it for 10 minutes in kadhai on slow flame.
  4. Gravy is ready Then we add the Mamra and slowly and its merged with all vegetable. Its ready in 5 minutes
  5. Vagharela Mamra with vegetable is ready to eat. Sprinkle coriander leafs on it. Serve this Instant snack in evening and breakfast.
