Bati Recipe

Bati Recipe

  • 2 bowl plain wheat flour
  • 2 spoon cumin seeds/ jeera
  • 2 spoon sonf
  • 2 spoon salt
  • 1 tsp soda
  • half cup makkai flour or suji
  • 2 table spoon oil
  • Bati cooker
  • Salt
  • water 1 glass
  • Ajwain 1 tsp
  • Ghee 2 table spoon


  1. We take 2 bowl wheat flour and add half cup suji or makkai flour which is available . Add the oil 2 table spoon, jeera 2 tsp, Ajwain 1 tsp, sonf 2 tsp, salt and baking soda 1 tsp add ater and make it dough for batis.
  2. Leave this dough for 10 minutes and after this heat the bati cooker greece the plate. make small sizes balls shape
  3. Put all the balls on bati cooker plate as shown in video. Put the cooker on gas on slow flame and cover it for bake the bati.
  4. Bati is done with one side then we change the side in 10 minutes. As shown in video.
  5. Bati is done both side. We heat the ghee in kadhai and fry the bati in it. Bati is ready to eat.
  6. Bati is ready to eat serve it with Dal/ Tridali Dal we served and recipe of Tridali Dal is already shared.
